point hunting in Jones County

hello all.
I have a meadow down in my woods, to my knowledge it has never been plowed in modern history, at least back to the 60's anyway.. before then, who knows. the field is flat, over looking a small creek. even in the drought around 1997, this creek always has moving water in it.
i hooked the two bottom plow to my old 8N and turned the meadow over last weekend, with the intention of hunting artifacts over the winter. we have a little dusting of rain Sunday, so i eased down there to check it out. my father went with me to see what i had plowed. i found a nice looking point, albeit with a broken tip and appears the stem is broken a little too. judging from online sources it seems like it is a Morrow Mountain type 2, putting it around 8,000 years old. it is so fascinating to find something that a man made, hunted and survived with, not to mention this all occurred before Christ walked the earth. hoping we will get some rain soon, and i can get back out there and find something else.
i'll post up anything i find, and maybe i'll show off the old N series too
