PSJ offshore Thursday

The dang wind finally slowed down, so we headed out early (8:00 am ) this morning. Stopped on the first spot, caught six fish in six drops, but all shorts. We moved about 1/2 mile, and had our limit in about 15 minutes. We decided to prospect a little, so we pulled around some plugs looking for new stuff on the bottom. Got nothing on the troll, but did find a school of dolphin and kept a few of them for dinner. Back on the trailer by 12:30 and headed home. No pics I forgot my phone.

The wind the week of the 17th was amazing. That's the only week in 25 years we've been going that I didn't see a single pleasure boat out cruising just off the beach. Only saw one boat the whole week and it was probably 5 miles out and looked liked they were having an awful ride.

I got invited to fish opening day on a new 36 Cape horn. I declined. I saw them at the ramp yesterday and asked how they did. The owner answered "We survived".
