Quick hunt this morning..

I went on a quickie hunt this morning in Oconee County....The woods were pretty still....I only saw a raccoon from the stand but jumped two single deer on the way out....Found my first rub of the year and some good sign where the deer were searching for acorns....Didn't see any one tree dropping many...Looks like the deer wer cleaning them up as soon as they fell....It's fixing to get good....Find one tree dropping and you will find backstrap for the grill!!!! Time to goto bed...Gota be at work at 5:30...

acorns were falling around our stands all weekend, one spot sounded like hail on a tin roof so there must be a bunch of them. The weekend before season I watched two does graze a hardwood ridge and every time an acorn hit the leaves they looked that direction and then moved towards it. I figured on taking some pebbles to woods and throwing them out of my stand to see if it attracted..................ya think that would be baiting, LOL
