I’ve run a bunch of different card cams and I love the “ cheap ones “ not as much for price , they seem to have more longevity….. I’m a Tasco man I also have a Cabelas that’s on season 3 …. I’ve got a good friend that swears by the “ cheap” muddy cameras …. When I buy one that’s 100$ plus it seems to not last for me

I’ve had good luck with these wild game brand cameras. I’ve had other style of this brand and they were junk but ever one I’ve had that the battery tray latched like this has been good

For trail cameras I stay with Brownings. I have some 5+ years old. They used to cost more than other brands, but the longevity and battery life make them a cheap option. Only uses 6 AA batteries. Alkaline batteries last 6 months or more, according to flash usage.
