Sick turkey. Pox?

They didnt try and clean it and see what the meat even looked like? Maybe it's my phone, but doesn't look that sick or odd to me?

Cleaned it just fine, said the breast meat was normal. The scabs and tiny yellow polyps were all over it per the hunter. He said anything without feathers had it.

Bringing this up again, another one I saw die.

Same thing, but 1 hour and 2 counties over from the 2022 bird. Oglethorpe county.

Beardless, gobbled hard and acted great, but it's Avian pox, again.

Mine did pretty good unless they developed legions on the eyelids. That basically forced them shut and they were blind in one or both eyes. Blind turkeys don’t do too much living.
