So there’s some stuff the Italians call Giardiniera - basically pickled veggies with some seasoning. I’ve got immigrants thick on my dads side, they taught me this one.

1. Grab a chunk of game meat
2. Dump a jar of this stuff on it in a crock pot
3. Don’t do anything else for six hours while it simmers on low.

Turns out they have the Italian stuff at ingles now…
