Yea, that is a fair size cat. Good bit bigger and a lot lighter colored than the cat I saw the other day. We have an abundance of bobcats, along with other predators.

Never heard one that sounded like that. They have a few light vocalizations. Some of the lower volume calls sound a lot like birds chirping. Unless you actually see one making the call, you`d never guess it was a cat.

Ours too. We lost 13 layers to foxes last January, and one to a great horned owl. So far we haven`t had problems with weasels or brush wolves.

I got tired of killing and skinning foxes so I predator proofed the henhouse.

We got 3 kinds of owls, plenty of eagles and ospreys, and more hawks than we know what to do with. Surprisingly we`ve only lost two chickens to owls. Generally they`ll only eat the head off a chicken.
