Those who use tss #9's question

TSS 9s will kill them stone cold dead a lot further than you'd probably be interested in killing them. If you have pattern density at those distances, the load will perform.

Me too. With them absolutely no reason to tote a 12ga.

I’m sorry. I can’t keep doing this. I was trolling! Yeah, I did think about getting some really large TSS (2-4 range) to deer hunt with. I’ve killed coyotes at extreme ranges with the 9s and they looked like they got hit by a truck. It’s an amazing improvement to lead.

I ordered a custom combo of #7.5x8s from Nitro. They had to look into if they could load it, they called me back and said folks in hog country do #6x8 #5x9 #6x9. Said the #7.5 work on neck shots or shooting through light brush. I had to convince the person on the phone, that I wasn’t chasing numbers. I wanted big pellets in the 240/250 range for bone breaking turkey patterns. I saw a guy post a deer kill with #4s in a 20ga at 45yds. TSS is wicked, T shot won’t stay in a deer out to 100yds I believe.
