Nice! I did a little public land creeping today. Not much turkey sign but I did find some mongo buck sign.

It surely is. I love it.I have hunted Big Lazer a few times for deer and got drawn for a quota once bout 15 years ago. Now that I am retired I hope to put in late season time there. Beautiful place
Maybe we will make acquaintance after a hunt one dayIt surely is. I love it.
That would be awesome. I’ll be there camping the first weekend that opens for general hunting. Last weekend in April.Maybe we will make acquaintance after a hunt one day
I almost went to Big Lazer long time ago and ended up somewhere else. Anyhow I'd like to check it out somedayThat would be awesome. I’ll be there camping the first weekend that opens for general hunting. Last weekend in April.
If you want to, let me know when you might be there. Maybe we can run up.I almost went to Big Lazer long time ago and ended up somewhere else. Anyhow I'd like to check it out someday
I would hang my turkey stand in that dark looking tree on the left side in the background. The wind should blow your scent up and away from them. You could pin your decoys to the sides of the tree below you. Have them facing the tree like they are pecking the trunk for bugs. Turkeys love fresh trunk bugs first thing in the morning. You can make pecking noises with a box or mouth call. I like to use my natural voice though. It sounds more... uhh, natural.
That's a planIf you want to, let me know when you might be there. Maybe we can run up.
