Will be headed down to check the fish population around 30 a. Will fish the 331 area of Choctawachee and west bay of St Andrews. Fishing Thursday till Sunday so not along time but will give the numbers.

Sorry for slow response but I’m happy to report there are trout east To west in Choctawhatcheebay. Got a bunch on Thursday but there are 3 less then when I started fishing. The big surprise was how many small to medium tarpon were in the area of 331 bridge. I hooked 2 got 4 jumps out of them and the chose a quick release to cause them no harm. Today I fished the west bay of Saint Andrew’s but in at the bridge and peddled about 2 miles and got 3 redfish and my guess would be 20 trout with 4 being legal. Here is the perfect 27 inch that decided to come home with me.

Tomorrow I’m going to put my morning effort into getting a picture of the Tarpon in my hand or kayak either will be acceptable.

Very uneventful last 2 days as the wind was blowing tried to surf fish but real strong current and waves. Did fish fora couple hrs on the rocks of the 331 bridge got 3 little trout but nothing special. Next report will be from Anna Maria island first week of June.
