Weatherby recoil pad help

Anyone know where I might find a limbsaver or similar recoil pad part number for a synthetic stock Weatherby Vangaurd 30-06? I cant find anything on the internet. Picked one up for the girlfriend and she's being recoil sensitive. Hope she never wants to shoot my M1903....

A 30-06 is a lot of gun for a woman, but most can learn to handle it. That being said if you can't find a limb saver you can try a slip on. They may not look great but they do work, I used one on my 338-378.

I tried to replace the one on my Mark V Deluxe a coupla years ago. I couldn't find the Pachmyr factory pad with WBY molded in without buying a new stock from WBY. Ended up having a smith install a limbsaver for $85. Works good enuff for a 30 yo gun I paid $675 for off GON Mkt at the Exit 41 McDonalds.

kinda looks like they are grind to fit or slip on. You could remove the existing pad and use a slip on if you weren't comfortable with grind to fit.

they do offer some prefits but Weatherby or Howa isn't listed
