They make the weirdest giggling sound if you sneak up on em and scare the bejesus outta them. Did it when I was younger then that joker followed me step for step coming outta the woods one night . Freaked me out so I gave him a dose of my 300 win mag.

About 10 years ago island creek rd on Sinclair was covered in them. Driving down the road was like a game of frogger trying to dodge the dead ones.

I think they are deaf and almost blind. I followed a group of 5 one time for 200 yards or better and they never knew I was there. Then had a free for all with the 22LR.

My place in SC is infested with them. I have trailcam pics with three or four in the same pic. But, I have never seen one in the daylight. They seem to be completely nocturnal there.
