I saw that show as well. He had piled up some does and a buck with that thing.
First time I ever saw a Browning version was on that show. Savage makes them also, I believe.

I almost bought one back in the mid nineties when we used to hunt at Ft Stewart all the time. I wish I had one now. Those are pretty sweet guns. I saw Uncle Ted shooting that thing too.

IMO the Browning Bolt Action Shotugn was, and still is the best slug gun out there on the market if you can find one used. I donot have any clue as to why Browning stopped selling them. Tar-hunt shotguns are toted for being the best but many think that the browning surpassed the tar hunt shotguns. If you can find one for less than 600, i would scoop it up if i was you!!
