Need some Rain

Planted my plots about three weeks ago and now they are about four inches high in spots. We do need to get some rain. I have had turkeys tearing them up. Is there any thing I can do to keep them out of them. Has anyone tried the Plotsavers? I want the plots to be deer holes later on.

Plotsavers work great for keeping the deer out but they won't keep the turkeys out as it works on scent repellent. You might try an owl decoy from the local garden supply but I've learned the hard way that birds like seed and eventually they get used to any type scarecrow.

plotsaver

we ahve had good results with Plotsaver. It kept the deer out of a summer - bow plot until it was well established, as soon as the ribbon was removed, it took the deer a few days to get on it, but once they did it was 'mowed'.
