Here is the fan mount from the bird i got a couple weeks ago.

Heres is my collection!

Top left is from Georgia this year.
Right is obviously the one above.
Full mount is my first bird that i shot in Georgia in 2003.

Looks good !!!!!!!!!!! I like the way you included the wings in the fan mount. Never saw that before.

Did you make your mount or buy it somewhere. My tail feathers should be dried out by now, and trying to get ideas on what to do! thanks for the pics.

I made it myself. I just skined the wings, boraxed them and pinned them out like that.

Looks good, nice job. I've never seen it done like that too.

I'm tail mounting a couple of mine this year too, the first time I tried it. I got some "preserve-it" from Matt Thomson taxidermy supply to inject into the legs.

Ya i drilled two holes then put a piece of leather shoe lace thru the spurs and the beads.
