Hunted over the weekend in Stewart Co. Conditions were certainly better than the weatherman was predicting. Hunted over a 3 acre foodplot Sat morning and took this small buck (My chocolate lab is smiling now that she has some new horns to chew on).
That evening I hunted over a group of white oaks that were dropping and "Mr. Sausage" came in to visit.
Both animals were taken with my .50 cal CVA Optima Pro with Hornady 240XPT and 90 grains of Blackhorn. Below is the recovered Hornady. Man I love these bullets. Both animals dropped where they stood
