How often should you change out your drop away rest? Ive had mine on my bow now for two seasons. And was wanting to know if i might need to change it out finally.

I would think that if it is still shooting good it should be good to go , but not sure i just went to a drop away a few weeks ago a QAD ,i would like to think that for the money i would get several years of use out of it maybe keep a check on the pull cord.

I shot a ripcord for two years. I called and told them that I needed a new string since I was getting a new cable. Not only did the send me two new strings, but instructions on how to change it and two new stronger tension springs. I guess with the bow speeds getting higher and higher they had to go to a stronger spring. I have now swithched to a QAD. No paticular reason, just wanted to try something new. Contact the manufacturer and see if they have a "tune-up" kit available.
