saw it too. heard about it in january. it followed his book really well - obviously it didn't include all the details but captured the essence. Read the book if you haven't.

It's on again tonight at 6 and 9. he said he could tell the difference in their vocalizations between a venomous and nonvenomous snake. I might watch it again and learn some more.
