South Carolina Low Country Lease

I've hunted in the Low Country of South Carolina off and on for the last few years. Great deer herd in the counties I'm hunting(Bamberg and Colleton). We were fortunate to pick up our own lease this year (600 acres) and we have enough hunters there already.

I just came across another 1000 acres that are available and I know this history of this property and it has been managed for years now. Going to look at it next weekend.

Was wondering if any of you would have an interest in joining. Looking for 6 to 8 members only. The initial membership cost will be in the range of $1500 to $2250 per member. Each member would be allowed one guest (only two guns per member). Immediate family covered under the member, if family member hunts by themselves, that would count as your 2nd gun.

No current lodging accomodations. There is an area for a primitive camp run on generators. Will have more details and description of property in a couple of weeks.

Update on Lease. Visited the property. Mostly pines and hardwoods and the entire south property line borders a swamp and a river. There is a real nice power line clear-cut that runs diagonally on the property. There are areas for food plots as well. Currently there are two nice tower stands and a half dozen ladder stands on the property. The place can accommodate up to 10 guns at a time without a problem. There is an area that a camp can be set up but will need to run on generators. There isn’t any power there. Property is a few miles south of Bamberg. The rules can be decided amongst the members. The land owner does require 8pt or better 13” spread (outside the ears). Great road system with names and all are marked. All roads accessible by 2wd truck. Need to give the landowner an answer in a couple of weeks. This would be perfect for a group that already hunts together to jump on. Let me know.

Did you ever lease this property? If so any openings?

This was a year ago and no comments since - probably did not pan out.

Land in this area is hard to find for lease.
