So I will be going to visit my brother this weekend in Milledgeville, he just moved up there. I have never hunted up there can anyone tell me if there is any turkeys on Oconee WMA?

I haven't hunted it planned on it here in a few weeks when I go to my hancock lease for a few days. President in our club deer hunts it a good bit said he has seen turkeys during deer season.

There's a good turkey population @ Oconee WMA, if you can hear the gobbles over the bass boats and ski boats on the lake, along with military air exercises, I guess from Ft. Gordon--constant fighter and helicopter fly-overs, every time I've been. The biggest obstacle to hunting for me there has always been various excessively, loud noise sources.
