Here's the successful final result of a handful of failures.
I have finally found the right combination of chemicals and super high grit polishing cloth and heat to get to this.

Can you guess what it's going to be?

This is step one.

It's a semi-rigid piece of acid etched and antiqued copper, 5x4.5 inches.
The second phase will be posted this weekend.

I don't know what it's gonna be, but I sure like the copper. Did you put the texture and patina on it?

It started out as a plain piece of copper, everything you see is my doing. Thanks for your interest!

Halfway there!

Letting the glue and dye completely dry before I start adding to the decorations on the outside corners
