Just took a 600+ mile trip in an EV.

How the battery guys answer. There are a few valid Points as we have threads where people have never been more than two states away from the house.
My 2012 Toyota gas burner just now came up for its 100k iridium spark plug change.D0B1048B-A095-4F2F-8774-7FFEBA786BBC.jpeg

I've travelled a bit in the States, been to Japan a couple times and to the Caribbean several times. Spent a good bit of time underwater when I was younger.

This current green direction we are being herded in isn't healthy. It's a farce.

It's being perpetrated by the profiteers and those that seek clout and power.

It has nothing to do with clean energy.

It is a sham.

We are weaker as country because of their brand of green worship that our political leaders are pushing off on us.

If we wanted to fix things.......we'd affix these batteries to an electric chair and fire up Ole Sparky and get rid of the murderers, child molesters, rapists, traitors. That would be good use of clean, green, mean energy. Knock down the roster of death row inmates...make it a moving line....make room on death row for the scum that are delivering our country to CCP.

...just joking, seriously.
Just had turkey club at the restaurant...

"... chewy, stringy bacon."

Read a while back where they took one of those top end electric F-150s with all the extra towing capacity and whatnots (nearly $100k), and hooked it up to a hitch tow camper.
It got 80 miles before it needed a new charge.

This pretty much sums it up, folks!

Not against EV’s at all. But they simply are not practical or economical at this point.
And doubt they ever will be on a mass scale.

They gonna run out of water and power at the same time.

If they weren't so unnaturally overcrowded they wouldn't have the political power that they do. I hope they all turn to dust.

And here we all are using our lithium battery powered iPhones, Androids, iPads, laptops, airbuds, leaf blowers and a whole multitude of outdoor power equipment. Not to mention wi-fi.

Plug em in at night n good to go next day.

We should demand they put little gassers in all our latest n greatest technology so we wouldn't be dependent on charging all these contraptions. Better yet...demand they go back to alkaline batteries and buy em by the brick.

Dang guberment. Dang Elon Musk.

Give us 3 to 5 more years and we will all be subscribed to Elon's Starlink system where we will have cell service on top of Mt Everest or middle of the rain forest. For less cost than we're paying to Verizon.

When EV's deliver a better utility to the average consumer then they will dominate the daily commuter/soccer mom/ market. All that own them think they already deliver a better, more cost efficient model.

I don't own an EV. At 66 I may never. I'm surrounded by co-workers that own em n more coming every month. Everything from Prius to Tesla to Porsche to the new Ford F-150 Lightning. Left out EV motorcycle owner who's now waiting on delivery of his Lightning. That'll be the 2nd Lightning in the parking lot.

Best buddy at work taking delivery on Sunday of his 2022 Tesla Model S to replace his 2015 Model S. Sold the 2015 for more than he paid for it. And he owns a big farm. Ain't no city boy. Porsche Taycan owner got him a big farm too. Manages for big ol grown deer. Ain't no city boy.

They here to stay boys and becoming more popular everyday.

If you can go clean green energy around the world what good does it do. I know we need to do the best we can, but if you’d ever visit China, Japan, etc. you’d think we were living very clean. I was in the military and I was shocked at the air quality in these places. US is very clean in comparison.
Also seems that the gubment wants to geographically keep us in a grid so they can control us. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

China is building a new coal fired power plant each week. Who is policing their air quality? Nobody. They could care less about air quality. Certainly glad it is not that way in the United States, but our incompetent leaders are bound and determined to destroy this country over the "green deal" and we only emit 16% of the carbon gases to the world's atmosphere.. Please go and vote sensibly in November........and let's return this country to "the People".......

You guys are looking at this the wrong way. You should be encouraging your women to get one so that if gas prices spike or a pipeline goes down you have an alternative form of transportation.
