Early Co. sitting over what was once a food plot but has now turned into just dirt with no rain and deer pressure. Have seen a 7pt and 4pt so far

Hunting in box stand in pines in Sumter Co. Just got in stand about 20 mins ago. Slept in due to jet lag. Heading to stand saw a decent buck down a clear cut lane. Within 5 mins of being in stand had a spike come through. Saw several does on side of road in the 20 minutes before arriving. Glad to see they are moving mid-morning. Hope they keep it up.f
First hunt of the year, btw. No one else hunting this property. Day 1 is often a good day for me.

We bought a bunch of buck huts for a new property, I was hesitant on what to expect, I’m super happy with them, great stand and like the zipper and magnet windows

Rockdale acorns every where.

I kinda miss Rockdale at times. Not enough to go back tho.

There are some Gorilla Bucks walking around there and relatively low hunting pressure.

Doe and fawn just came through eating acorns. I guess no one told them that they’re supposed to be getting harassed by bucks right now.
