I have a Scott Shark with the wrist strap and the strap has almost ripped into. I do not think it is any faulty product thing just alot of use. Question, will Scott re strap a release for a price....Nothing is wrong with the release just the strap....Anyone ever have any experience with this...Thanks

No they won't, you will need a replacement strap. Straps aren't under warranty.

You can get the straps off line. I'd try eBay find one with free shipping.

As I stated I do not want or expect this to be a warranty deal...I wore it out.....just wondering if they sell original replacements....Thanks for the info though...may have to go that route....

You will want to order a Scott strap that accepts your current release. I've had to replace a shark strap and a rhino XT. Was simple but the strap ran in the $30 range.

I'm fixing to add a strap to a Tru ball hinge that doesn't offer straps on them from the factory.

I used my last Scott strap for many years and could not find a replacement so I took it to the local shoe shop and had it resown. Did this at least three times. Finally bought a new Scott single caliper. Much quicker to hoop on loop.
