It sounded (had to listen on the radio, a South Carolina station at that) like there were a few anxious moments late in the fourth quarter. The Chickens had the ball twice inside the 30 yard line with a first down, but couldn't score. (Sounds a lot like the Bulldogs, don't it?)
South Carolina has always been tough in Columbia.2 yrs ago was a battle as well, Carolina had the ball inside the 5 late, with a chance to win but fumbled the ball. Like Jeff said, on the road in the sec is a tough row to hoe!!
Maybe my expectations are to high for a No.3 ranked team. There is a difference between a tough game on the road and sloppy play. I saw a QB who was not having a good night, receivers dropping the ball, poor tackling and penalties at crucial situations. Am I glad they won...Yes, am I happy with their play......NO!
