how much do you dislike the new biblegateway.com format?

they made the Word of God much smaller, on the left,
and the advertising much bigger on the right.

many websites have gone to the "thin center vertical" column of data, almost like a single column of a newspaper page, where you spend more time scrolling the mouse up & down, rather than reading

here is the new page:
https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=be+not+ashamed&qs_version=NKJV

here is the legacy site:
http://legacy.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=be+not+ashamed&qs_version=NKJV

the only GOOD part of the new site I see, is that the search results are no longer numbered, so when you cut & paste, you get this:

Psalm 31:17
Do not let me be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon You; Let the wicked be ashamed; Let them be silent in the grave

instead of, when you C&P out of the legacy site, you always get the number, and then you have to delete the numbers

1. Psalm 31:17
Do not let me be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon You; Let the wicked be ashamed; Let them be silent in the grave.

I'll have to check it out...I have E-Sword downloaded as my kinda "go to" utility...but I have enjoyed using biblegateway in the past, though.

doing VBS this week, i like to cut & paste the actual Bible words to teach, instead of the heavily edited stuff in the text books.

If you do a word search, the result will include an address (clickable) link...

I searched "grace to help" for instance ...

and 2 verses with links to the left came up.

Hebrews 4:16 ...

and

Acts 18:27

But before... I had to take the text...

Hebrews 4:16

and then copy the web address link...

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+4:16&version=NASB

copy that and put it into the "insert link" field.

What I don't like is that if I search a text, the result does not include a clickable link ... that hasn't changed.

I don't like the new as much as the previous one.
But I just don't like change.

It's still a valuable study and research tool.
