Lanier - Dropping Deep!

Out for a half day with Cody and Joe. The bite is tough but found 15-16 in 35'-40' deep on the drop shot. We caught a couple on spybait....1-2 on topwater...but most deep on drop shot.

Fruity Worms ruled again...even tested a new color for a fish or two. The bite is just tough...a ton of window shoppers so you have to keep moving to find an active school. I saw Jeff Blair at the ramp...he said his striper bite was similar...find a huge school but have to move on because they won't bite. Kind of weird right now.

Cody was the big fish guy today....he caught 2 good ones in deep water on the drop shot. The bite down in 35'40' is more like a "spongy" feeling....a little pressure or feeling a little extra weight.

A ton of laughs and trash talking...and a little fishing too. Of course...here I am with a Diet Dew and some Lance Toastee Crackers....and Hookum sends me a picture of a BBQ sammich he is eating....dang, that hurt LJ

Hookum listens to all kinds of stuff....especially his stomach when it comes to an Amos' BBQ. I love those things.

Fishing....weird out there...all over the board...top, deep, and in between.

yeawe all listen to hair nation. just makes me sad to hear that music now cause you realize how terrible most of it was lol
