Most of my plots are 2-3 acres I planted a mix of ICP and sun hemp two years ago and had good luck with it. This year I was thinking about adding some WGF sorghum and either eagle beans or lab lab to the mix. Has anyone planted a similar mix and how many pounds of each variety did you use.

I’d skip the eagle beans. Spring and summer plots are added value to all the green up. You will notice they may either wipe it out or hit it occasionally. Your plots are not large enough to support eagle beans. I mix lab lab in with sun hemp and sunflowers. Our goal is to support the soil for fall.

I mix iron clay pea, lablab, and Sunn hemp or WGF sorghum. Sunn hemp is a better "ladder" plant in my opinion. It improves soil fertility and is provides nutritious browse all summer.
