I got this mountain Gobbler yesterday morning, and found the shed walking up to pick up the turkey. Shed was laying 10 yards from the turkey. Heck of a morning. Half of back tine already chewed off by squirrels.

They are gobbling pretty good on the few fair weather mornings on the roost.

Great turkey, congrats!
Nice turkey and shed , heck of a thick beard !!! Last season my dad and I were going to a gobbler and he picked up a nice shed and killed the turkey a few min later , I believe they are good luck !

Amazing how you can't find sheds if you look for them, but you find them in freak ways.

I've always thought the same thing. Found one this morning in the moonlight walking down a fence line. Just knew it was gonna be a great morning. I did hear one gobble across a paved road and called in a hen so not a bad morning but not the kill I was hoping for.
Good find on both.
