Lanier - Youngster in the Boat

Out today for a half day with Anthony...a tall drink of water in high school. He is a Jedi in training...yes, the force is strong with this kid

Working on his drop shot fishing and a little sonar education was on the schedule and he didn't disappoint. Ended the few hours with 12....all but 2 on the drop shot....those two came on a topwater and crankbait fishing a rocky point.

We hit around 20 waypoints striking out on some....a ton of window shoppers again today....and some places were just naked! When we did pull up on some active fish...we'd double up. One key was downsizing our baits. No toads today but a few solid spots...and man, you have to work for them. I can't wait for turnover to finish up...you can see it all over your sonar in some places.

I really enjoy working with the youngsters...and when they play video games....they pick up on video game fishing fast. Lots of laughs and just a fun few hours. I look forward to hitting the water with Anthony again. LJ

Forgot to mention....might need a boat captain soon. I've got a commitment from one guy but haven't heard much lately. They won't let me captain. PM me if interested....and Anthony will have his own boat soon...nice one too from what I hear.
