Duck pad Thai

The coastal zone duck season opened up here Saturday and we had a great weekend in the marsh. My wife only likes to eat duck if it is dressed up in a meal so I try and get creative in order to eat it more frequently. Decided to try something new and did a duck pad Thai, it turned out really good. Marinated the breasts ina hosin ponzu sirachi concoction and then cooked em in coconut milk and a Thai peanut mixture. Tossed in some peppers, mushrooms and served over noodles with some bean sprouts.

Might have to try that at duck-pad-Big7.

Looks goot' to me. :bounce:

Two Thai folks I know.
One worked for me and what he brought in fer'
the fellers' would peel hair off a hog.

A resturant I like in Conyers is really goot'.

Call Ban-Thai. Means Thai-House.
She got the hot stuff too..

A BUNCH of not hot as well.

I love to try just about anything.
Me and ducks get along real good!

Depending on the dish, they use allot of these cute little guys:

"Bird's eye chilies are very hot. On the Scoville scale, they rate between 50,000 and 100,000 Scoville units. That's over 20 times hotter than a jalapeno but three times less spicy than a habanero."

If you ever buy green thai chili paste be CAREFUL.

Great looking meal bet it went down well too. I love Thai food myself they can put an incredible amount of heat in their cooking that doesnt give me unpleasant aftereffects like some hot stuff does. I always order "Thai hot" when I eat out sometimes they ask me if I'm sure while giving me a funny look but I've always been able to handle it.
