Here ya go. :cheers:
2-9â€� unbaked pie shells. ½ cup butter. 3 round tablespoons self rising flour. 2 cups sugar. 3 beaten eggs. 1 cup buttermilk. 1 tsp. vanilla. Dash of nutmeg.
Have butter soft, add sugar, cream well. Add flour, eggs and beat well. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes.
You can also use 1 deep dish pie shell for 1 pie. I prefer 2 pies.:bounce:

Edit: Made it and was able to get a slice before it was devoured by the kids & wife. Everyone gave it a solid thumbs up and asked me to keep this recipe handy.


Cheated and used the Ninja....hit the butter & sugar a bit first....then added the buttermilk....hit is some more and then added the rest and let it ride.


Wife started her new "diet" the next day, too. She said that pie was a good send off, lol.
