Atlanta area dealers of boats, UTV's, and 4 wheelers are greedy. Not hard to get a better deal out of town. I bought a boat a few years back, and the guy in Panacea, FL was over $2000 cheaper than the locals. Pretty easy to justify that fishing trip.
Looking at new Rangers myself, and while I will give my local a chance, I will probably go to TN like my friend did.

If they can get a certain price for it, how is it greed? Next time you sell your house, a car, or anything else make sure sell it below market value for the area to show people you aren't being greedy.
I consider it greed when they won't negotiate. I took the Florida quote to my local dealer, and he quickly told me he wouldn't sell it for that. He wouldn't even counter after I told him if he would get close, that I would rather buy local.
If the guy in Tennessee can make money at that margin, then these guys could too.
Everyone has to make money, but they don't have to make it all on one sale. Car dealers do the same thing. Their lobby is why you have to pay an impact fee to bring a car into Georgia.
Souther honda power sports in Chattanooga has the best prices of anyone on Honda four wheelers. They often have last years models crazy cheap. They are a huge place and supposedly buy everyone’s left over inventory and sell them. When I bought mine a few years back I paid $1300 less than my local dealer wanted for the exact same machine.
If you're looking at rangers try Adrenalin Power Sports in Griffin. I bought mine there and I shopped around all over the state, Tennessee and Alabama They beat everybody's price, some by as much as $2000.
