Fishing near Augusta

My Dad is having surgery in a couple weeks in Augusta. We'll probably be there for 4 days. I'll probably have a little time in the mornings and evenings to do a little bank fishing.

I don't know anything about the area. Just looking for a few bank friendly areas to try. I was gonna try a park on clarks hill but would be up for any other close places too. I'll be fishing for bass. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Diamond Lakes Regional Park is a decent place to bank fish. There are also a few piers and back fishing areas on Clarks Hill. Bank fishing spots below the - I AM A POTTY MOUTH -- I AM A POTTY MOUTH -- I AM A POTTY MOUTH -- I AM A POTTY MOUTH - wont be far from downtown either.

I saw something about the brickyard ponds in a search. I'm gonna look for a little more info about them, thanks!

I usually hit up the river below Clark's hill if I've got some time to kill in the mornings. Iv had better luck with topwaters when they aren't generating power.
