Up and getting ready to head to Pike county..Start of a long vacation..had new bucks moving on my cam overnight..going to a tower that overlooks clearcut and 2 food plots situated in the cut

Back in same Brooks Co. box as yesterday evening where I saw a doe and fawn. Jumped a couple of small bucks on my way out yesterday. I heard a low grunt right after daylight this morning. Hope he comes out of the thicket so I can see what he looks like! Good luck everyone and be safe!

Following from the office this am.
Seems like, overall, its been a little slow.

Taking the day off today. Went all weekend at 2 places around a hundred miles apart. Walked and drove a lot. Slept very little.

Plus got to see the neurologist today and clean out the VanPer and get her ready for another trip.

Might wait till' rut, Might go fishing in St. Pete.
Even I don't know what I'm going to do until I start packing.

Had a late start this morning. Had a doe run up within 10ft of me while I was walking in to set up stand. Spike was hot on her trail. Next time I'll make sure I have an arrow nocked and release not buried in a pouch...
