First good and cool morn and I wake up at 3am with bad stomach issues, after a few hours of trips to the outhouse it finally settled and I went back to bed , just woke up and headed to the stand in a few . Prob missed the booner parade in front of my stand !

Had one blow a couple times pretty close in front of me. Odd since what little wind I've had has been in my face all morning.

6 point and 2 does and fawn arrived at the corn at the same time and the 6 was in the corn and the does decided they weren’t that hungry and left.

I just had two full grown does ease in and start eating acorns about ten feet behind my tree. They figured out something wasn’t right, predictably.

Slow morning. Saw 11 from this stand yesterday morning. Heard one or two in the thicket but never saw them.

One of the does came back and decided the 5 pointer that was eating was safe to hang around but the 6 showed back up and she ran like she saw the Holy Ghost.

Sitting over a heavy trail leading to a giant oak that's dropping. My 1hr15min drive (left at 5am) to get here turned into 3 hours to get here and get up in the tree thanks to traffic and couple urgent calls of nature.

This is my last hurray until last weekend in October, gonna be traveling with family. One blew at me right at the truck when I got out. Hopefully there are more around looking to hit these acorns.
