Haven’t been able to hunt in the past 3 weeks unfortunately. Hard to get motivated looking at the thermometer. Hope this post-rain morning pays off. Hunting Sumter county. One more cup of coffee and then heading out.

I’m with you for a little while this morning. Public ridge where I saw them earlier this month. Don’t have long before i have to go to work but this is a special opportunity meat hunt so it won’t take much for me to sling an arrow. 30° on the truck when i got out at the parking lot.

Spooked one 30 yards from stand while getting in @ 6:45am. Duck hunters were active nearby for 5 mins at dawn. Quiet since.

Just had a baby buck come by at 50 just a touch too far

Been a dang good morning in Calhoun co. Two does and 7 or 8 differ bucks. One really good 8. And 3 hogs

1 unidentified deer early and a momma and 2 yearlings just now.

That’s the saddest looking deer I’ve ever seen!
