Recently bought a 336 30-30 with some ammo... Rem core lokt 150gr and Hornady Lever FTX 160 gr. I put a scope on it, but not sighted it in yet. What ammo have you found to be most accurate in this gun? Thanks

Mine shoots the 150 core lokt's better than any thing else, You just gotta try different brands and grains till you find the one your gun likes. Mines a 1968 Marlin

I’ve got a 35 Rem that’s dropped at least 20 critters with Core Lokt... funny thing is I don’t like Rem ammo since it shoots like garbage in all my other rifles. Sure does well in that Marlin tho!

I have a Win 94 it likes win power points.
My question is, where are you finding ammo? Lol

My 336 loves both 150 & 170 grain CorLokt. Doesn't shoot the Hornady so well.

Mine that I donated to a methhead really liked 170 Powerpoints.

My 30-30 likes 150 grain power points and corelokts. It shoots the 170's decent but little better accuracy with the 150's but both are minute of deer at 30-30 ranges.

Lever evolution 160s. The groups are tighter. Makes the gun more capable out past 100.
