7 pt. a friend shot

my buddy jake was down for a long weekend and last thursday afternoon at 5:15 shot this buck.

it should have been a symmetrical 8 pt., but he must have damaged his left main beam in velvet and it stunted the growth and made a big knot in the beam.

this is his best buck so far so he was very happy with it. he only gets to hunt maybe 4 or 5 times a year so i was happy i could put him on a buck his first time hunting with me this season.
