Acorns this year

Here in Hancock very few white oak. Some of the red oak are loaded with big acorns. Looks like a cow pasture under some of the reds.

I actually think I have too many acorns (actually in too many places on the property).

The white oaks at my dads house have been dropping really heavy for the past week and half.
Seems a little later that normal? Maybe because it was so hot and dry?
On a side note they have finally gotten some size to them.
Maybe because of the rain? Kind of like figs do.

We never have white oaks falling until around Halloween or later on our Meriwether property.?

They are dropping in Heard, huge white oak acorns!
