Took the Grandboys to a tiny pond in a neighbor's front yard today.
We were armed with nothing more than hooks and hot dogs.
Sliced down the middle, and cut crossways into about 20 half moon chunks, just hook one and toss it in the water.
Two hours of drag pullin' simple summertime fun was the result...
They caught 20 or 30, and were about played out when we ran outta bait.
I didn't fish, just sat on the Ranger with the neighbor and let the boys be boys.
Sometimes, it should be just that easy!
