Just got back from my trip down to S. FL a few days ago and as usual it didn’t disappoint.
The Peacocks were in abundance and feisty! also finally landed my first Mayan this trip.
So nice to have my brother living down there for now to make these trips doable without too much expense!

Bonus footage- Not freshwater but part of the same trip. The fisheries down there are sooooo diverse.
Trip started from Miami airport then over to Naples/Marco Island for a few days, then back over to Homestead where my brother lives.

Here’s what happens when you rig up your new travel rod and give it to your little brother to cast while you’re finishing up the surf rods! First cast.
