Any way to scare off bears?

If you stop feeding the bears they will more than likely leave, especially since they're out of the mountains in Cherokee County.

I think they are just starting to expand here, I hear a lot of folks talking about seeing bears and have a buddy that has been having a problem with one the last few years.

I don't think the mountains have anything to do with them spreading here, I think it's just they are spreading due to population numbers. There is quite a big population in middle and south Georgia with no mountains in sight

Where we hunt is the side of a mountain in Northwest Cherokee.
We have chosen to stop feeding entirely and just going to keep our fingers crossed the deer don’t leave with the bears...
