Anybody else filming hunts?

As far as the small cameras go, I had been looking for one for the wife, for years. Last Christmas I got her the Vivitar. She hasn’t really messed with it, but I read a lot of reviews before going with the Vivitar. At Some point, I may play with it and take it with me in the woods.

I use my phone when huntin with others but I'm terrible at it and I don't have editing skills. I get caught up in the moment and forget to video it good. Or the excitment of the moment makes me forget about the video.

But I wish I was good at it because I love a good exciting homemade video.

Get a cheap camcorder. The zoom on them will blow your mind. I have a cheap camcorder and a clip on mount for my climber

You're not going to film TV quality with this but the zoom will make you leave your binos at home, also the audio quality isn't great and there isn't an external mic port
