had a nice little 4pt buck visit where i was hunting for about 45 minutes Saturday morning. He was a healthy looking critter with perfect matching rockers spread about 8-10 inches. Saw another deer running the ridge that i thought was a doe, but a few minutes later my 4 pt came back out from where the other deer ran, so I started thinking it may have been a smaller buck that the 4pt ran off.
Later that day, HardCoreHunter put me on a spot that looked good, but I didn't see anything....Hardcore was just over the ridge and right at dark, he sent me a text message saying he was surrounded
Unfortunately I started developing a migraine headache just before dark and ended up having to leave camp and not hunt today. But that's ok, I'm off all week and will be headed back to camp tomorrow to see if I can't see some more
