Great tourney as usual Jenn! It was good to see the turn out under less than desirable conditions. Even though the weather was bad, the fish were biting for us, just too many little guys. Since we hadn't pre-fished at all, we just pointed the boat south and ran down to my home creek and hit the rocks with cranks. We just kept pounding and grinding points until time to quit. We used the same 2 crankbaits that we've been catching fish on the shallow bite with for almost 3 weeks now. My son threw a crank that's been working great for us and that's a Rapala DT10 which caught the biggest fish and I was using my old faithful homemade sand key crank which has caught most of the fishing including the 2 biggest in my last tournament. Crankbaits are a pretty good way to catch a few shallow right now. A shad pattern medium diver like the DT10 works pretty good as well as a color pattern like the crank in the pic below.

Thanks again for putting the tourney together Jenn! It's always a pleasure and we really enjoyed it and congrats to the winners!

My partner and I weighed in 8.96. We had fun even though the rain NEVER quit. We probably caught 15-20 but that weight is all we could put together. At least they were biting! Just couldn't get the big girls to hit it! Thanks again y'all and I'm glad you had fun, won some $ and some cool swag!
