Best all a round pound monofilament

I fish out of small boats and really dont have the room for a ton of equipment. I mostly catch spots, cats, carp and use Pflueger President reals on 6'6" medium rods. I switch between plastics, jerks,crank baits and occasionally live bait.
My rods are spoiled with 6lb to 10lb mono not brand specific but do like trilene big game.
If you had to spoil one pound test with above fishing styles what pound test would you pick for an all around catch what's biting type set up?

8lb cxx pline and be done, it'll be way strong enough

Trilene or Stren..8lb test with that set up.

Been fishing with both for 40 years and have caught everything from bream to grouper on these lines.

8lb Pline copolymer. Some of the toughest line I know of and it usually behaves well on a spinning reel.
