Boykin dogs

I have a Boykin mutt. Best dog I've ever owned. Read up on them. They excel at everything a dog/pet should be. Maybe one of the most overlooked spaniels.

I think you will be very pleased. Good luck to you and post a couple pics. One thing to remember, you can’t train one just like a lab, most have a little bird dog in them.

yeah... I sometimes had to get a little rough on my labs. They could be hard headed rascals at times, but my Boykin acts like you beat her with a extension cord if you speak harsh to her. It doesn't take much to correct a Boykin

If I can survive the puppy stage we will be good.

My labs were easy going, both females.

Well, tomorrow is the day to get Milo. Will go after work. We have everything but a floor bed/mat for him and will get that soon. Mama said NO on getting the furniture or our bed and I agree. I'm tell'n y'all I'm anal about my dogs obeying. It will be a journey but I think it will be a good one.

I can tell my wife is excited, she won't admit it and is not a dog person but I think she will be here real soon....
