Went to my lease, trying to get a doe so I could start buck hunting. Ended up on a food plot, with about a 70yd shot. Watched 3 does most of the evening, right at dark 5 more came out, picked out a nice size one and let the Encore speak.

Sent the Frame off Had Gary Reeder do the trigger action, then build a barrel port it and add a scope rail,

350gr XTP loaded by UnderWood.

65yd shot,

Deer #1 down for the year.

She was slightly quartering away, she went about 45/50yds painting the the woods.

Just a thought but believe it is bucks only for first two weeks? Assume maybe another state.

There are some counties that have doe day every day of the season.

Check out the magenta colored counties.

Yeah I know the law, guess I get questioned because I shared it to the public. My club is Doe legal all of modern firearm season. Why on earth would I try to self incriminate myself otherwise.

Wondering what kind of scope are you using as well as ring set up.
thanks

Burris 2x7 posi-lock Warne rings not sure the base had Reeder install it believe it has 6 holes. Drilled and tapped. Maxima rings, I’ve seen them stand up to some big shot gun loads.

Figured with the 500 it would need some support. Have two Reeder Contender barrels, both 41 wildcats, the 41 GNR & 41 GNR #2. Both
good shooters.
