Butt on the Ground!

Well I tried to climb a tree and hunt last Saturday and I came to resolution my tree-climbing days are behind me So, military plan B is butt on the ground!!!! I have 2good sitting stations ready for this weekend hope to get some fresh Bambi—-Ole Preacher

Well, I don't hunt out of it anymore since I had to cut it down to a stool after the carpenter bees chewed it up, but my turkey lounger is what I was referring to.

I‘ve killed a few from the ground, and really enjoy hunting that way. I do hunt out of my climber mostly, but sometimes certain areas are best hunted from the ground. I’ve constructed a many of ground blinds with bushes.

Yes, sir! If I use a chair, those right there are the best kind. They’re quiet and easy to carry in and out. I’ve sat on a cushion with back up against a tree a many a times as well. My hiney prefers a chair.

Eye to eye on the ground within 20 yards is a great situation to be in. I climbed a couple stands and almost always fell asleep. Of course woke up to a deer moving off leaving no shot a few times.

Me too, got a few ground blinds and a couple of box stands 4 ft off the ground with office chairs in them , really like those on cold days

I like using the top portion of my Summit climber when I hunt from the ground. Propping my elbows on the frame make for a steady rest.
